What is Tasty Tuesday?

Every Tuesday evening during the summer, Ashmore organizes a food truck to visit Ashmore Village Park (1000 S Indiana St) and offer meal options for individuals and families who want to take a night off from cooking.

The summer series typically runs every Tuesday evening from June through August (except fair week!), and includes one main course vendor, a dessert or drink vendor, tabletop games, and boundless neighborly conversations. The weekly community picnic embraces the beautiful summer sunsets and breezes at Ashmore Village Park, complete with the laughter of little ones playing on the playground.

The event is held rain or shine, but may be canceled on occasion when inclement weather is eminent. If it has to be cancelled, the Village will notify by posting on Facebook, updating this page, and posting signs at the park. If you are still unsure, you may inquire at the Municipal Office by calling 217-349-8332.
